Bridgerton : The Bridgertons and the Featheringtons, two powerful families, attempt to thrive in 19th century London high society during the English Regency, plagued by the common and insidious gossip reinforced by the worldly chronicle of the mysterious Lady Whistledown.
Lady Kate Sharma, a strong-willed, tenacious, quick-witted and independent young woman, looks after the interests and happiness of her younger sister, Edwina. Edwina, named "Diamond of the Season" by the Queen, is being courted by Anthony Bridgerton. But Kate wants to help her sister marry for love and not for arrangement and, considering Anthony a bad match, she tries to keep him away.
Simone Ashley is a British actress of Indian origin. She made her debut in 2016 by landing a small role in the series Wolfblood: The Secret of the Wolves, followed by appearances in the series Guilt and Broadchurch. She made her film debut in 2018 with a small role in Boogie Man, followed by the lead role in the film Kill Ben Lyk. It is this same year that she reveals herself to the general public thanks to her role of Olivia in the series Sex Education. She appeared in the miniseries The Sister in 2020, and in 2021, she was announced in the role of Kate Sharma in the American hit series The Bridgerton Chronicle.
