Buffy Summers is the heroine of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Buffy is a young high school student, a vampire killer from a long line of elected officials, who is given supernatural strength to fight against the forces of evil. She braved many dangers and faced several apocalypse, surrounded by her friends fighting beside her.
Sarah Michelle Gellar began her career in 1981, when she was only 4 years old, in the film An Invasion of Privacy. She played a few small roles, in parallel with her schooling, in the film Over the Brooklyn Bridge in 1984, in the sitcom Spencer in 1986, then she performed for the first time on Broadway in The Widow Claire. In 1993, she won one of the leading roles in the series All My Children, which marked a turning point in her career. But it was her role in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series in 1996 that made her known worldwide. She then made her way to the movies in I Know What You Did Last Summer in 1997, Cruel Intentions in 1999 and Scooby-Doo in 2002. She returns to television in the main role of the series Ringer in 2011 and The Crazy Ones in 2013.
