Sophia Bush

Sophia Bush is an American actress, director and producer. She began her career at the age of 20 when she got a small role in the comedy American Party. But it is thanks to her role of Brooke Davis in the series 'One Tree Hill' that she is revealed to the general public in 2003.

In 2005, she plays one of the main roles in the action film Supercross by Steve Boyum. The following year, she made a series of successful films with the horror film Stay Alive and the comedy John Tucker Must Die. In 2007, she co-stars with Sean Bean in the thriller The Hitcher, a role that won her the Teen Choice Awards for Best Actress in a Thriller and Best Female Revelation.

Sophia also goes behind the camera on the series 'One Tree Hill', directing three episodes over the last three seasons. In 2014, she got the role of Erin Lindsay in the spin-off series Chicago Police Department. In 2015, she created her own eco-friendly brand of perfumes and beauty products, Smell Great. In 2018, she produced Emily Kassie's documentary A Girl Names C and the documentary series Mother Truckers. She made a cameo appearance in the hit series This Is Us in 2020, and currently stars in the series Good Sam.

 

Sophia Bush has been active for several years in raising awareness about issues in Bangladesh, Afghanistan, as well as anorexia, lgbtqia+ community rights, animal rights and the environment.

She also supports the association To Write Love on Her Arms which aims to help people suffering from addiction, depression and suicide.
