Stargate Atlantis is an American-Canadian series, one of the spin-offs of the Stargate SG-1 series. It follows the missions of a team of scientists and military personnel who explore the mythical city of Atlantis. Teyla Emmagan, a native of the planet Athos and leader of her people, is a beautiful and sympathetic young woman, but nevertheless cautious and withdrawn. She develops a telepathic gift as a result of the experiments conducted by the Wraith on her ancestors, and will join the main Atlantis exploration team after her encounter with the Terran people.
Rachel Luttrel is a Canadian actress and singer. She began her career in the early 1990s in the series Street Legal in which she played the role of Veronica Beck, then made appearances in the series ER, Charmed, In the House or Touched by an Angel. She also participated in the recording of a record for the fight against AIDS, Songs of Conscience and Hope. In 2011, she joined the series NCIS for an episode (season 9) in the role of Corvette Captain Stephanie Mosner. But she is mainly known for her role of Teyla Emmagan in the series Stargate Atlantis. She will also perform the song Beyond the night by Joel Goldsmith in episode 13 of season 2, to the delight of fans.
