Priyanka Chopra became Miss World 2000 before Bollywood became interested in her and quickly began her acting career with her first film Thamizhan. From 2015 to 2018, she played Alex Parrish in the television series Quantico.
She's also a committed woman. Parallel to her career, in 2006, she became involved with UNICEF to defend the rights of children and adolescents, officially becoming a Goodwill Ambassador in 2010.
In 2014, she wrote an entry in the New York Times following the award of the Nobel Peace Prize to Malala Yousafzai. In this column, she notably evokes the importance of girls' education in India
